2006 Pro Football Yearbook
Our third
current era SS Football edition! New features include ratings for kick
coverage units, and teams printed on glossy stock.
Surviving an AFC tourney that
featured an ever-dangerous New England squad, a juggernaut offensive machine
from San Diego, an upstart New York team and a veteran KC club, a
revitalized Indy defense toughened up in the playoffs and the future HOF
quarterback "finally won the big one" for coach Tony Dungy.
In the NFC, Chicago once again
rode a dominant defense to the title game, but was hampered by an
inconsistent QB. Seattle broke the 'title game losers' curse" by at
least making the playoffs, but neither they nor the other playoff teams from
Philly, New York and Dallas were real contenders for the title.
Perhaps the story of the year was the resurgence of New Orleans, a team
whose resilience helped uplift a city struggling to find its footing
post-Katrina. |
