1923 Negro National League
Yearbook
A groundbreaking product! The
first tabletop baseball recreation of a full Negro League season.
Meticulously researched, this yearbook brings to life all of the great Negro
League ball players and teams from Rube Foster's 1923 Negro National League,
including the league champion Kansas City Monarchs, led by pitching and
hitting star Bullet Rogan (who led the league in wins and also hit .364),
league Triple Crown winner Heavy Johnson (.406, 20 HR, 120 RBI) and SS
extraordinaire Dobie Moore. Includes ballparks too!
Notes: Cover art courtesy of Dane
Tilghman. Dane's award-winning, distinctive watercolor style has established
him as one of the premier painters of Negro League baseball images.
Some of his baseball works can be seen in murals at Atlanta's Turner Field
and at Philadelphia's new Citizen's Bank Park.
